How We Handle Data

Mivo Echo is designed for local sound creation. The app does not require an account and stores recordings, postcards, covers, and project metadata on your device.

Local Recordings and Projects

The sounds you record, generated postcards, covers, and project metadata are stored locally on your current device. You can remove local projects where deletion controls are available. Deleting the app or clearing local data may also remove these projects.

When you choose to share, the app opens the iOS system share sheet. The destination, recipient, and later handling are controlled by the system or third-party service you select, and their own terms and privacy practices may apply.

Microphone Permission

The app requests microphone permission when you start a recording flow. The microphone is used to record your voice or ambient sound for a local sonic postcard. If you deny permission, you can still use built-in sample audio to try mixing and rendering. You can change microphone permission in iOS Settings.

Purchases

This version does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, prices, credits, or paid unlocks. Mivo Echo does not process payments or store purchase access status in this release.

Third-Party SDKs and Tracking

Mivo Echo does not include advertising SDKs or use cross-app tracking.
